Enter the admitted until or permitted to stay until date in your passport.

We will start reminding you 30 days before the date.

What is a SMART Visa?

A SMART Visa is a long-stay visa for Thailand aimed at skilled professionals, investors, and executives. It offers permission to stay for up to four years, depending on the visa type and employment contract. Instead of a yearly extension, holders are typically required to report to immigration once a year.

What this free service does

This is a completely free SMART Visa reminder tool. Enter your permission to stay date once. We will send you friendly email reminders starting 30 days before it expires. No sign-up needed and we never share your data.

Why the date matters

Staying beyond your permitted date counts as an overstay. This can lead to daily fines, possible arrest at the airport, immigration records that affect future visas, or being banned from Thailand. Completing your annual report or renewal in time avoids these problems.

Which date to enter

Enter the "Permission to stay until" date stamped in your passport. This is the final expiry date of your multi-year permission to stay. You should also set a separate calendar reminder for your annual report date, which is one year from your last entry or last report.

What to prepare for your annual report

  • Your passport with the current SMART Visa and admission stamp
  • A completed TM.88 form (Notification of Staying in the Kingdom for more than 1 year for SMART Visa holders)
  • Documents confirming you still meet the SMART Visa conditions (e.g., proof of employment, income, investment)
  • Proof of address (e.g., TM.30 receipt)

Rules change often. Check the latest requirements with the One Stop Service Center (OSSC) or your local immigration office before you go.
